CA community,
First off I would like to say thank you for your patience towards this matter. I know the site is not top of the line and people have doubted how all of this will come together, but patience has warn off. Recently I have explored the option to reach out the ESL Gaming Network to sponsor a NA league/cups for the CA community. The details are starting to come full circle and we are within reach of the goal. ESL gaming is one of the largest supports for the gaming community and this can take CA to the next level. As many of you know ESL is what launched EU to be as large as it was with the GO4CA tournament that can be viewed here. With this said there will be changes within the NA CA community.
The first massive change will be the rule change that comes with this movement that we will start to enforce. The reason for this is because we want to be on par with the CA EU community in hopes for CA to expand. The best games out there have an equivalence world wide. Of course many will say well what about BR, but EU is our focus at this time and growing with them. Please make sure to check out the rules section to see these changes.
Notes on the rules is to understand that these are the basic ESL rules and I am saying that if you want to start training with the rules used for cups please start to abide by these rules. The two main differences with EU and NA will be that NA will use Lightvest (due to cosmetics) and NA will do 5v5 (unlike EU that does 4v4).
As of now we are still discussing everything over with ESL. I have been waiting to have more solid concrete evidence that ESL will support CA NA before making this announcement. More announcements are to come with the further growth of this topic.
