Introduction
Before teams play their first matches, or players participate in any CAGL related events, please completely read, and understand these rules.
We will attempt to keep these rules updates at all times, In the circumstance that they are not decisions made by the CAGL administration will take precedence.
CAGL reserves the right the make changes to any and all rules as deemed appropriate.
1. Members
1.1 Sportsmanship
All Players are expected to maintain a high level of sportsmanship, in and out of Cyber Gaming League events, Unsportsmanlike like behaviors include, but are not limited to, profanity, racism, hate speeches, and rude or vulgar acts and remarks, Abuse of an official CAGL staff will not be tolerated. All unsportsmanlike acts will be handled on a case to case basis at the CAGL administrations discretion, Unsportsmanlike reports will not result in score changes or game outcomes.
1.2 Names
All Players names must not contain anything that someone may deem offensive, such as, but not limited to racism, offensive language, offensive content, suggestive themes, or abusive and otherwise vulgar language.
Members that attempt to impersonate an official CAGL staff will have their accounts permanently banned off of the CAGL platform.
2. Teams
2.1 Team Leader/Captains
The team leader and captains controls every aspect of your team, team captains reserve the right to change the team name, update, remove, and add members, edit team information, report scores, schedule matches, and file disputes, all teams must have a team leader and at least one captain and max of two.
2.2 Team Names And Avatars
Team names and avatars may not contain any vulgar content, or otherwise content deemed offensive, this includes, but is not limited to, pornographic content, vulgar and abusive language, suggestive themes, or racism, having any of the mentioned can and will result in your team being deleted from our platform.
2.3 Team Captain Changes
Team captains may replace themselves at anytime through PM to CAGL administration.
Teams may overthrow there captain through a vote, an overwhelming majority vote (70% of your team) must agree to replace your captain, a new captain will be promoted based on the player on your team with the most votes to be captain, This is handled on a case to case basis and must be handled through CAGL administration, you must have a valid reason for wanting to replace your team captain.
3. Matches
3.1 Match Schedules
All matches must be played within 5 days of the default time (this varies from game to game), not playing your match by that time will result in a forfeit for your team, Matches can be scheduled by having your team leader or captain respond to the appropriate match comm.
3.2 Match Deadlines
Teams are not allowed to play after their match deadlines without the explicit permission of CAGL administration, If a team needs an extension, a request should be filed in the help center immediately, all extensions are handled on a case to case basis. We want all matches to be played, and anyone who is abusing the default time will be reprimanded.
3.3 (TBA) AntiCheat
All members will be required to run and install the (TBA) anti-cheat found on the homepage during official league play, There is zero exceptions to this rule.
4. Violations
4.1 Game Configuration Files
Users may edit their own configuration files, provided there are no changes to give the user an unfair advantage.
4.2 Graphics Card And Game Settings
All players must have ambient occlusion set to off in their graphics card settings, as well as LOD Bias set to default, users also must have their anti aliasing set to 0x, not doing so will be considered cheating and will result in a permanent ban.
4.3 Cheating
Players found cheating in any way, shape or form, intentional or unintentional will have their accounts permanently banned of off the CAGL platform.
Cheating is the manipulation of a game to give you an unfair advantage (Seeing through walls, making walls transparent via game textures, etc)
CAGL will never reveal evidence regarding a players ban.
4.4 Third Party Applications
Third Party Applications such as mouse and keyboard macros, hacks, injectors, and anything else with intent to modify the game to give an advantage is strictly prohibited.
4.5 Map Exploits
Using map exploits such as glitching into walls, positioning yourself to be able to see through solid objects, and clipping is strictly prohibited. All boots are legal unless stated otherwise (Will vary from game to game)
4.6 Weapon Exploits
Using weapon exploits in order to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited (I.E Equipping a scope to a gun that you can’t equip a scope on due to a game bug)
5. Reports and Disputes
5.1 Match Reports
All team leaders or captains are responsible for reporting matches on appropriate match comms after games, proof must be included (Screenshot, video, etc)
5.2 Disputes
A teams leader may begin the dispute process of a match by contacting CAGL support via the help desk.
5.3 Forfeits
Teams may be forfeited if they do not have the required people to begin the match in the server/room 15 minutes after scheduled time. Screenshot will be needed of attending team in a room set up.

CAGL reserves the right to modify these rules under any circumstances without notification.
Any player trying to bend or imply a rule where it is not intended will be dealt with accordingly by a CAGL Administrator.
