i get like 80-90 fps but i feels like 20 constantly
i5 2550k
gtx 650
8gb ram
like i can get 300fps on csgo at any res but even playing at 1024x768 makes me lag a ton

I'm assuming you've probably tried all the resolutions out? and tried lowering the settings in game? I have found my game runs the smoothest on my native resolution. I actually get higher fps and a much smoother experience on 1920x1080. And how many things do you run while playing, such as background programs, anti-virus?

You shouldn't be lagging, but if you are..you should dust out your fans, repaste your thermal paste on your processor and etc.. something i never do, but i finally did it after half a year and let me tell you. my fans are hella quiet now...gotta love it.
