Time to break in this board with a serious discussion about the Baltimore Riots

Let's talk intelligently here, I'll start it off by saying I am all for peaceful protests but it loses it's peacefulness when you start pillaging and looting all the helpless businesses around the area. That's why what is happening right now is a lose/lose situation. People are out there hurting the police officers who had nothing to do with the death of Freddie Gray, and are being hospitalized because of the criminals throwing bricks and rocks at them. It's a another level when the local gang's in the area are announcing that they will hurt police officers, and other "protesters" cutting the fire hose lines.

Anyway, let's see what you have to say.

Their is a lot that goes into protests. Most of them start off peacefully and for the right reasons. However the world is filled with.. well assholes who jump on any opportunity to take what they want.. steal what they want, looting family owned businesses, destroying vehicles and property. This ALWAYS happens. A protest that stands against wrong doings, gets shadowed by people just taking advantage of certain situations. The police are to blame for all the wrong doings in recent times; however, that doesn't give citizens the right to break the law claiming they are protesting against the situation that caused the protest in the first place. All you can do is wait for the protest to die down and people to move on. I agree with you Zack. It is a lose/lose situation.
