Thrown this idea around before but I was playing bombing run the other day. Was actually really fun and definitely has a competitive aspect to it. Which leads me to the proposition of potential a 3 mode competitive instead of just snd. You could play 5 round snd, 3 cap ctf, and a 3-5 round bombing run which would be about the same time frame as 1 full length snd. Personally, whenever I get on the game people are always saying the game is boring and dull and "too easy" yet we've never even tried to play bombing run, VIP escort, or seize and secure on a truly competitive level.
Also threw around the idea with some people about completely switching up how we play competitive in the way we build classes for snd. If every player was given 10-15 points to build a class, and whatever guns or items you select go towards points. (ie: a smg is worth less points than an ar since it is less effective in snd) This could set up tons of new strategies and allow for potentially new gameplay and we could see lots of new items being added such as backpacks, frag packs, different guns such as shotguns, smgs being used more.
The first thing you see when you hop on cagl is that its an organization that is here to bring back competitive combat arms "in a whole new way" yet were playing with basically the same rules, same guns, same maps, same modes.
Would like to see what people think.
